Opernhaus Zürich

The history of the Zurich Opera goes back to the "Actien-Theater", which opened in 1834 with Mozart's "Magic Flute". It was the first permanent theater in the city and was founded by theater-loving citizens in the form of a joint-stock company. The corporation (today Opernhaus Zürich AG) remains the patron of the institution; in November 2009 its 175th anniversary was celebrated.

Installation information: The Zurich Opera House implemented a fiber optic system for video distribution, in which 36 lines were drawn, each with two cores (one core for video and network). Video transmitters/receivers are PhotonX brand. Thanks to this solution, the output signals of the three Pandoas Box Dual servers can be easily distributed anywhere.
